Been so long since I last wrote here. Guess I am either too busy or can't really be bothered with this haha. Guess it has just been work work, which has been taking up a whole lot of my time.

I think the most memorable event so far would have to be the HK trip I brought the students to in August. Been so long since I went there, and it's also my virgin trip with students =) The day spent at Universal Studios was really memorable and amazing; I really love there and would want to either go there again or go to the ones in US. The other enjoyable activity done there would be the trekking trip across Lantau Island. It drizzled at the beginning and the ground was slippery, but at least it made the weather cooler. However at the end of the day, I still got kinda sunburnt haha. But I don't regret a single bit.

My reservist stint was also very welcoming indeed. It's a good distraction from work. Missed the mates and the slack time there lol. Been so long since I did nothing much heh. Looking forward to the next one in Nov 2012 =)

And er, I got into my first accident the first week of reservist when I booked out for the weekend. Saw an orange light, braked, and the van behind hit me cos he thought I was going to beat the orange light. I claimed from his insurance, and everything went without a hitch.

I also bought a slr, my first one, as I needed to find a new toy to play with hee. Also because I broke mine during the HK trip while trekking, so I kinda got into slr. I'm still beginning to pick up the techniques and tricks, need lots of practice before being able to take good shots =) spent around $1.5k, inclusive of a dry cabinet and a 3rd party lens heh.

Currently on a 2 week npcc officer basic training course, and will be going for a 4 day 3 night camp tomorrow (tuesday) till friday at ubin. Let's hope the weather's going to be kind on us!

Life's been busy as usual. Term break came and whizzed past me. Over in the blink of an eye. Sigh. I went for some servicing for my car and bought Redline engine oil prior to going to the workshop. Got the 5w30 variant. Then drove my dad and I to his cousin's workshop and changed the EO, air filter and aircon filter. Pretty basic. He charged us $50 only, duper cheap. However, it was pretty evident they were lousy at servicing. They knew the parts to change, but they didn't do any thorough checks or clean the throttle (I don't know what that means, only know that term from other WS websites). Guess I won't be going back the next time. But the Redline oil was really good. Makes the engine run smoother and the gear change is more subtle than before.

Work isn't a bed of roses. Wished I could just take some holidays myself lol.

Hectic Life

Dear blog,

Went for standard chartered marathon, and it was a nightmare. I could still maintain the jogging / running till about 28km, after which I gave up and walked the rest of the journey. It was such a hot and arduous morning, and it felt totally terrible. When I had finally reached the finishing point, I was red from sun burn, and my legs hurt badly. Couldn't walk. Took a cab home and slept!

Then I had gone to Krabi in the hopes of doing my virgin wakeboarding with my friends. Turned out that there wasn't wakeboarding there. So I did some kayaking in Krabi on the first day, then my friend drove 190km all the way to Phuket for wakeboarding. I didn't really manage to stand on the water after the 2hour session, probably because I was too stiff haha. Then at night, I drove the journey back. We got lost and probably clocked 230km haha!

The wonderful and lazy holidays finally ended and soon, school's starting. What a super uber duper hectic and busy life!!! One can never imagine the workload! I work at home after work at night; I work on weekends; I work everyday throughout the CNY holidays. That's how life is for me. I hope it will get better soon enough. Looking forward to the term break!

Dear blog,

Ever since I've gotten the car, I've gotten used to driving and feeling good every time I take a much shorter duration to get to school. However, there were some minor incidents that upset me, like brushing against kerb and others, resulting in some scratches. The first incident resulted in a $70 hole in pocket, the second time I just ignored it as it's futile to attempt to patch back any flaws.

Just gotten my iphone on Thursday 14 Oct from M1. Bro has got some corporate plan where I could get either 40% off for the first 2 basic plans, and 60% off for the 3rd most expensive plan. So I got that and paid $60 for my iphone 32gb, and am paying $39.20 every month for the $98 plan. A sweeeeeet deal. Too bad have to get a new number. I like this new number too, but I also like the original sighz. What a hassle to change phone number, that is IF I decide to change. Have to inform friends, change online personal information like online banking, NS.sg, singapore portal, insurance, blah blah blah. Sighz. Guess I'll just use this new line till 24mths then terminate it; meantime just use it for extra phone calls / sms and also for fellow iphone friends.

Went for the New Balance run today. I haven't been training, and with the lack of sleep, I really couldn't run. Took around 2hrs for the 15km. Sucks. Going for stand chart in December too, wonder how on earth am I going to conquer it. Gotta start intensive training!

hey bloggie,

I've been late in typing here again. Anyway, so far so good. I went for a short vacation to Macau w/ family in June during the holidays and was pleasantly surprised by the cool weather and nice small city. Ate the nice noodles, 'shao la', macau pork chop bun, and Portuguese egg tarts there. Overall taste and impression was good! I had printed out some famous places of interest and food heavens prior to leaving, and am I glad I did so, else we would be fumbling over there lol. Actually the 2nd day was a disaster, because I had planned the whole day to be a walking sight-seeing trip. Alas, it rained throughout, and our shoes were soaked and we were feeling cold and tired from the walking, especially since my parents have ailing knees and ankles. In the end, after walking for a good half of the day, we took a cab back to hotel and then rested awhile before heading for the casinos again haha! We visited all the major casinos and also did Venetian Macau, which had a splendid interior! A very good eye opener =) It was a good trip overall, thanks to planning beforehand! =)

Soon, it was time to start practicum. The 1 month break had come to an abrupt end, for me =( It was actually pretty alright for me, not too tiring and I didn't have many lessons a day as well. Enjoyed my time here, especially since I had many new practicum teachers with me as well, and had good CTs. I didn't do well for my Sup first observation for Eng; it was a complete flop because the lesson was just too difficult for them haiz =( but anyway, I did good for my second observation for CPA, and that should do the trick =) Anyway, I've sorta completed all my observations, and am now waiting for it to end =) Another 3 more months before I plunge into the real world of teaching =)

This week marked an important milestone in my life. I got a second hand car from Ubi AML, at a good price! I suddenly got interested in cars, and after a short research online, went down and checked almost all the cars out. On the 2nd day there, my dad and I placed a deposit already. Then, the salesman did some repair/maintenance work for me before I collected my car. I sourced for my own motor insurance from Aviva as it was much cheaper (a good $250 lesser) than the salesman's lowest quotes from various insurance companies. The car is a Toyota Corolla Altis Black 1.6A, first registered in Jan 2006, so it's considered 4 half years old now =) But! Both the interior and exterior looked exceptionally new and beautiful, especially since the dealer had changed all the seats inside to a brand new beige leather upholstery =) Then after collecting the car on Friday, my dad and I went down to Poh Heng and changed the rims and tyres on Saturday. Paid $320 after trading in the original 15" sports rims and tyres, for a 2nd hand 17" rims and tyres. It was a superb price, and the results were significant. My dad felt that handling and grip was improved, and the price was well-spent =) I could also feel the difference too, even though I was still green at driving.

We went a few places on Saturday night with the whole family, and my dad guided me to some places and I actually drove on the highway for the first time. Yeee haw! Feels shiok! =)

It's been a long time, oh man. Have been pretty lazy for past few months in posting here. Guess kinda outgrown this kinda habit haa. Anyway, it's been pretty good in at yck. Colleagues are not bad, and work's pretty manageable haha. And I love all my kids =) Though they do give me a lot of problems, but they are generally lovable and sweet! Why sweet? Because they gave me sooo many things on 1st Sept 09! Haha. Was pleasantly surprised!

Anyway, had a nice nice dinner on 11 Sept last year at Outback Steakhouse at Millenia Walk. Celebrated bdae dinner =) Food was very good, and we ate till we couldn't walk! Haha. Love the cheese fries, deep fried shitake mushrooms, and my cheese smeared chicken breast. Yum yum. Now that they have a MRT station near it (Promenade), one could go there easily to have a good feast!

Went to sentosa for staff retreat on 24 Nov, and took the Skyride and Luge for the first time! The skyride was booooooooring, but the luge was a good invention! There's totally no chemical/electrical power involved, purely operated by physics and gravity. I enjoyed it though it was pretty short haha. After this, it was holiday time!

Had signed up for the bond just before the hols. Was still hesitant prior to that, but when the letter came, I just thought "what the heck" and just went for it. Haha. Hope I will like it!

I went to KL and Genting with family in december during the hols. First time to KL, and second time to Genting since pre-primary school days! Haha. Genting was very very cool, I just love that weather! Had some nice dinner at chinese restaurant, walked around the various hotels, and gambled in the casino for a short while. Played jackpot, and left without losing anything haha. Was almost going to leave after my last credits, and I actually won back what I've lost in my last 3 credits lol! Then I just left the place =) Went to KL, and it wasn't very interesting. Food was ok, and shopping was actually quite lousy haha! Even the IT shopping centre there (Low Yat Plaza) wasn't very well spaced out.

Slacked around after that, and had a very day out, and nice dinner at Brasserie Wolf on 31 Dec. Had foie gras as starter, superbly done! Then we had a thick juicy steak and lamb chop for starters, and an orange ice cream pancake which was out-of-this-world! Sweet and sinful, but irresistible =)

I then started school in Jan. It was pretty slack in the first 2 months, but after that, the work suddenly started piling up! I was just overwhelmed during CNY period, and was actually busy doing assignments in the midst of CNY! LOL!

Bought Lenovo Y460 laptop during March IT Fair. I got a super super good deal! It was $1699 with $100 taka voucher on first 3 days, but dropped to $1649 with an extra free Seagate 320gb 2.5" external hdd on the last day. I got it, and then during the lucky draw, I actually won a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2! Haha! AND.. JF actually helped me win the last prize of the IT Fair lucky draw! It was a $200 cheque hehe. So lucky! After selling away all the misc stuff, old laptop, and getting the LDS, I paid something like $6xx for it! Haha! Could have sold off the taka voucher, but gave it to mum cos she could buy something with it during the GSS this year =) Needed the laptop for work, else I wouldn't have gotten it.

Went to a few places for my bdae this year:

Esmirada at Orchard. Wow, food was good! Went with a during restaurant week, and food was very nice. Had a very long tall garlic bread, lamb chop and fish for mains, and a tiramisu cake for dessert. Because it was my bdae, they had a tradition of throwing porcelain plates on the ground as celebration. So the waiter passed plates to all the tables present to throw on the floor! This was really a first time for me. Love that place =)

A restaurant on board a ship at Marina Bay at the pier. Had a mini side buffet with jf. The sides consisted of just salad, pilaf rice, baked potatoes, and some dessert. The mains were pretty good though. The chicken chop was especially succulent and I love the sauce so much!

Vienna buffet at UE with family. Had buffet lunch there, and I took my favourite foods of salmon sashimi, swordtail sashimi, oysters, and unagi. Food was very good, and it was packed on a Saturday afternoon! Haha. Love eating salmon so much!

Crystal Jade Korean bbq restaurant at Centrepoint with D2. Didn't know Crystal Jade has this kind of korean bbq restaurant at all! Haha. We took the buffet option, and the food was pretty good. Better than Seoul Garden for sure (zw kept harping on it lol)!

Bought the Fujifilm F200 EXR camera at $379 from audiohouse, because I needed a new small compact good camera to bring to Macau on 1st June with my family. Going there for a short 4 days vacation. Hope we can get to eat some good food and buy some nice clothes there! =)

Overdue post

Haha my blog, sorry for neglecting you for so long. I mean, it was such a wonderful holiday period for me for the past month, that I totally forgot about you haha!

First up, my DrumZout 2009 was a roaring success on 20th June at vivocity amphitheatre! We started the preparatory work on friday, and transported many stuff to vivo in the day. Then, jy and me stayed overnight at vivo, and we only went back home on sat morning itself when some people came to relieve us. I took my time at home, and used the computer haha, and only reached vivo at around 2pm lol. Shortly after, the competition commenced, and it was such a spendid performance by all the teams!

My bro then let me in on a part time lobang haha. Hasbro, the toy company, is having a booth at marina square for the Parents' Fiesta 2009. Basically, what we did were just game station masters, and taught the kids how to play. Pretty fun job, and I liked interacting with all the super uber cute kids there! Haha!

I also had ate at Molly Malone with jf for his bday on 3rd july. I first went there with my army D2, and realized they really served good fish n chips, and so I decided to go there again hehe.. Then after the filling meal, we headed over to suntec city to visit the World Cyber Games there. Well, we reached there pretty late, and they were closing already, and so it was pretty boring.

My dad's bdae also falls on this month 12th, and we had a superb buffet dinner at kuishinbo on saturday 11th july at suntec! I only called and tried making reservations on the day itself, and was thus denied a reservation because it was fully booked. So, we headed over early, hoping to get a walk-in table. Alas, we were a little too late, and thus spent an hour waiting for the early birds promo diners to finish before we had our table. Yummy food! My parents loved the snow crabs, salmon sashimi, and many many other nice foodie like the chocolate fondue etc. =))) And on sunday itself, which was my dad's bdae, I went to collect a new york cheesecake from northpoint bakerzinn. I had earlier made an order on friday to collect the cake on sunday. My dad lurve cakes, and was thus delighted at having a very nice and tasty cheesecake! He took quite a few pictures haha! The cake was finished in just 24 hours. Imagine the cake craving that lurks in my family lol! =)

Finally, it was time to start planning for my driving lessons! I booked a total of 5 lessons, inclusive of 1 circuit lesson, before my impending test on 20th july! I was originally under this instructor, or group of instructors, whose head was a Mr Ong. Well, all his instructors were very lousy and unprofessional, and only taught me how to drive, and not how to pass the test, nor all the safety driving checks. I failed my test, with a grand 42 points without any immediate failure, in february this year. Then, I had changed a new instructor who was a single instructor on his own, and had a very high 1st time passing rate in bbdc. I had also booked a test in April, right after my last exam paper, but after taking 2 lessons under him, I felt that I wasn't ready yet for the test, and so, I forfeited the test. It's better to lose $20 than to lose the test $150 haha. And so, now, I had my final test on 20th july. I was super nervous on the test date, and during the test, the tester had helped me brake twice! I thought it was gonna be a bad test, but alas, I passed with only 6 points! Haha. Thanks to this new Mr Tan, that helped me to pass. He was a good instructor who taught me all the correct techniques, unlike my previous ones. But then, he had thought badly of me actually haha, cos he didn't had the confidence that I would pass, and so when I asked him how many points he think I would have gotten, he replied '16 or 18'. ZzzZZzz. Lol. I was surprised at the score myself too hehe. And so to celebrate, I went to eat buffet again w A haha!

Next comes my convocation and reservist. I had woken early on tuesday to go back ntu with my family for my convo. Took quite some pics haha. But the ceremony itself was abit slow. I waited very long before going on stage to collect my cert as my surname was one of the last few to go up. So, I fell asleep haha! Had little sleep the previous night lol. Then after the whole thing, I rushed home, changed, and went to nee soon camp for my IMT. This year's ICT is range. Shoot only haha!

Tmr's my 1st day of work at yckss. Wonder what will happen. And if I'll be suitable for this job. The future is uncertain, but I hope it's exciting and fun!

Beautiful trip -> Vietnam

And so here I am, having not posted after such a loooong time. Heh, been feeling lazy, that's why. Anyway, felt quite lucky that I finished my papers much earlier than the rest of my peers hehe. And did them pretty well too I felt =)

Right after exams, I headed down to SLS on Saturday 25th April to get the components for my new PC!! So excited haha! Spent about $1.6k in total. These are the components of my PC, which I'll be using for at least the next 4 years:

When I got all of them back to hall, I spent the whole night fixing them up, only to realize it doesn't boot up after so much hard work. Went to bed feeling vexed, and the next day, I opened up the casing and reseated the front panel headers, and voila, it booted up fine! Yay, my troubleshooting skills are good lol! Damn happy with this PC!

After settling my new computer, I had to busy myself with the FYP presentation. Luckily, it was all fine =) Very soon, it was off to Vietnam! Woohoo! I touched down in Ho Chi Minh, and spent the first 4 days there. Trekked around the city on foot, and also took some day tours to further places. The exact places and pics are in facebook lol. We then took a domestic flight up to Hanoi (capital), then to Halong Bay (some beautiful scenery, and was once voted to be 1 of the world's great wonders), and to Sapa by train. Sapa was literally the coolest place in Vietnam; temperature hovers around the twenties, like in an aircon room. The rest of Vietnam was just scorching hot! Hotter than Singapore I would say. Sapa was full of those small girls who spoke better English than everyone else in other cities in Vietnam. They said that they picked up the language because they had been bringing tourists around as their main means of livelihood. Anyway, I really enjoyed myself at Sapa, though it was only a short 2 days 1 night. Next, we took an open tour bus and came down to Hoi An, which was known for its shopping. I bought 4 shirts, 2 pants, 1 slippers, and 1 shoes, and all of them were tailor made! Still cheaper than what I can find in SG. Haha! Our next stop was Nha Trang, which was basically a beach city. We were lucky on the day we headed to the beach, as the sun was happily displaying its prowess at the beach-goers. We then ended up back at Ho Chi Minh, where we were to take out flight back to home sweet home. I miss the Pho, the walking under the hot sun, the sweating, the taking of pics, and many other things.

Anyway, when I came back, I signed for the education service shortly after. Now, just slacking and busying myself with DrumZout matters, and then have to start taking my driving lessons and PASSING the test in July. Sian, this year's convo and 1st day of reservist clashes. Most probably I guess I would be going for my convo, rush back home, and book in. Sucks. And, I would be starting work directly on the week after reservist. There goes my honeymoon period in NTU. Bye NTU. I think I will miss you =(

End of Projects

Finally, I have come to end of projects for this final semester. After printing my report and binding it, I submitted to my moderator on monday afternoon. My FYP supervisor just needed the softcopy, but moderator wanted the printed copy. ZzZz. In any case, I have a demo tmr, and hope that it will go smoothly *wish*

Today was my Engineers & Society presentation. My group was the last group to present, and we had initially not wanted this slot as it was so freaking near to the exams, 1 week in fact. But we chose abit too late, so there wasn't any choice left. Anyway, it went pretty ok today, but the last member in our group, was basically just murmuring away. It was really so boring, and I could just imagine AP Jessica stop his 'self-conversation' lol. But I guess our group was still pretty ok, minimum should have a B. She also returned our assignment that was submitted right after the term break, and each question was graded and awarded to the individual member who did it. I got A+! Haha!

Just did some cleaning up of another project powerpoint slides and added in some stuff. Tmr is my demo, and I'm not sleeping yet. Argh. Next tuesday's my first paper! Gotta go into active mugger mode!

Job Hunting !

I finally got to eat steamboat last saturday at bugis lol. Had been wanting to eat that since last year, but always didn't have the opportunity to do so. Hence, I jumped at that when jf asked me to go out eat for my bdae lol!

I had eaten twice at a particular shop before, therefore we ate at this seemingly 'higher class' steamboat. The price was also alil more premium than the rest. But the food was really good, much better than the one I ate before. Shall go back eat again someday haha.

Sian, haven't gotten a job yet. Applied for 3 companies 2 days ago, but I guess even if they contact me, it will be after exams, since they won't disturb the students during exam period.

Will be submitting my report to my fyp moderator on monday. Hope he doesn't want a demonstration haha! Just feel lazy, wanna have the time to mug instead. Exams coming! One more week.

This is a good weekend for me. Last night, I had gotten another new mouse, the razer salmosa (asian gaming edition) from sls, and then headed over to Pierside restaurant to have my sumptuous dinner at Fullerton.

Man, the Cod Fish was just heavenly! I have never tasted such nice fish before lol. It was just this good. And the other dish was the kurokawa pork, which I believe is the black pig I heard from one of my friends before. That was nice too, but I still preferred my cod fish haha. After the dinner, comes the Guanaja cake from Rive Gauche. It was a nice chocolate cake, with melted chocolate on top, and a biscuit (mcvities?) as the base. The best chocolate cake I have ever tasted =)

Next stop is Equinox! We went to the City Space, a nice cosy bar whereby we got to enjoy cocktails and mocktails, and also admire the beautiful landscape that sunny singapore has. Saw LY and MY there, so we sat together. And chatted till 2 am! Gosh, I was dead tired by then haha.

I tried out the new mini salmosa I got, and loved it. It's small, light, smooth, and just simply pleasant to use. Gonna sell away my A4Tech mouse, since it doesn't really suit my hands.

I had just come back from christina 21st birthday party at SMU Settler's. It was my first time walking through SMU concourse. This concourse links all the schools in SMU I believe, and is fully air-conditioned. How I wish NTU was like that lol. There were still significant number of people around campus, either studying or doing projects. Geee.

All in all, just wanted to say the weekend was just perfect for me =)

Carbonara!!!

Wheee, I cooked carbonara today for wood, clarisse, and alvin.. Bought spaghetti, mushrooms, bacon, 3 cans of sauce, broccoli, eggs, and added in the hams that were available in the fridge.

I started cooking at 515pm, and took around 2 hours! ZzZZzz, that was long lol. But the end result was pretty good! Tasted not bad! Haha! So happy with myself =))

Maybe I shall cook some at home for my family one day too ;P

IT Show 09

I had went to the IT Show at Suntec on Thursday 12pm, because I wanted to get that DLink DIR-655 router star-buy at 1pm at $139. It is really a good router from the reviews I read online, and am determined to get it. When I reached at 11.50am, there were already some people waiting outside to go in at 12pm haha. In the end, I managed to get it after queuing for 1 hour.

Then I walked around the show. Bought a 8gb sandisk cruzer micro thumbdrive and small laser mouse for my bro, Toshiba XD-E500KA dvd player for dad, and a WD MyBook Essential 1TB for my own backup and storage. I also got a small mini keyboard as a replacement for my current one.

Reached home, setup router and all, and realized that I can fully utilize my newly recontracted 8mbps singnet broadband in torrenting! The previous router I owned limited me to only 150 connections in torrents, which scaled back the full download speed my plan was capable of reaching. Now, I could open 2000 connections in torrent, and download at full speed! So many files were downloaded in just under 1 hour hehe.

I went to the show again on saturday with my family, and we bought a microwave oven cos our house did not have 1, and a 22" LCD tv for my bro's room. I also got a A4Tech X-718BK mouse to replace my Krait. In the end, we spent about $1k in this show.

The DVD player upscaled standard dvds and applied advanced algorithms to enhance the picture quality, which was quite visible. I wasn't very happy with the A4Tech mouse, as it now seems abit too heavy to use haiz. I got a new mousepad from cyberactive to match it, but it still felt heavy >.<

Now, I'm busy with eca, project, and finding jobs! Sian, can't find job yet. Cannot forget my driving too! haha..

Finally, the fyp is done. Finally, the draft report has also been done. Been rushing my fyp for the past 2 months. Even came back to hall on CNY day 1 to do it. After I completed the bulk of the project, on and off, I would head back and edit and make some enhancements to it. Other than the compulsory requirement of Google Maps, I added in a Chat Room and Forum to my Web Based Property Search System.

Come term break, and it was all assignments. After rushing through 2 assignments, I rushed through the draft report for the past 1 week. Did till 2, 3 am before I went to bed. So tired for this period. My prof had also asked me to go teach his DIP students on how to program Google Map, after seeing my work. Haha! I met up with them last Friday, and gave a 'lecture' to a group of around 15 people. All were from China. They really had not read up much beforehand I guess, and what I said did not make sense to them. I wonder if they would still have enough time to complete their DIP, as the prof is going back during the summer holidays, which explains why they are doing it so early.

Now that my draft is completed, I feel so relaxed. A heavy burden off my shoulders. But, still gotta find job!!!!!

Been so busy with so many stuff recently.. There's just endless things to do: quiz, assignments, projects (hrm!!), and others. Sianz. I want a breather and just relax like 1st three years lol.. Not getting enuff sleep these few days; been sleeping only 4-5 hrs daily.. Haiz..

Just came back from drumzout meeting. This isn't an official meeting; just impromptu 1, just to get to know each other. Then after that, we went city harvest for supper, and now I'm back.

I wanna play some nice games, like the upcoming Fallout 3!! It's coming out on 28th oct, and I will almost definitely get it and play throughout the december holidays. I played fallout and fallout 2 before, a couple of times in fact. It's such a good game, it's the best game series in my life haha. Then there is Diablo 3 coming up, and though there isn't any official release date, but I'm guessing it will be either next year last quarter, or early 2010 ba haha. Such superbly designed graphics! I used to play this so much in my sec sch days, I won't give this a miss for sure haha. But I'm gonna need either a spanking new and fast pc, or a good graphics card before I can play this.. My pc's kinda old liao haha..

wa wa wa! I have not updated my bloggie for soooo long!! Die le haha. Sighz, been so busy lately ba.. I also not sure what to write, or how to begin now lol..

Hmmm, let's start from where I last left off =) My IA was pretty good. Learnt abit about web programming, but it's still so little, I think I'm a complete noob at web designing sighz. In any case, my sup n fellow colleagues treated me to northpoint's sakae sushi as a farewell lunch.. So good sia haha.. It was a pretty ex lunch, about $90 for 4 people. But of course I didn't pay lol. But I also got a chocolate gift from taka for my sup haha. And, last but not least, I'm glad I got A- for my IA haha. Wo0t!

Then after that, it was juz a busy week of preparing for my DrumZout event haha. Got so much stuff to settle, and to coordinate. Then came a crushing moment: my dad who had fever for a week, still didn't feel better after that previous week, and had difficulty breathing, and finally, I advised him to be hospitalized on a particular sunday, the sunday just before DrumZout. The diagnosis was that he had pneumonia, and on the 2nd day he was admitted, the nurse called and informed us that he had a severe case of pneumonia, and will be changed to icu if the condition doesn't improve over the next few days. We had originally thought it was dengue fever, but it wasn't. It must be due to his smoking!!! In any case, my mum was veri worried, and took about 2 weeks off, to visit him and accompany him everyday in hospital. Whenever my dad breathe, you could hear the very very noisy hissing watery sound emitting from his chest. He looked so weak and frail. I had to go visit my dad with my mum everyday as well, so that my mum wouldn't be so lonely; she needed the support from me and my bro. I had no choice, but to inform my committee that I might not be able to make it for drumzout, n might haf to quit, cos I don't haf that much time to commit with my dad still in hospital. But luckily, the more major stuff had been completed, and was left w a bit of loose details only.

After a few days, my dad condition improved, and I was relieved. In the end, I went for DrumZout yay haha. I was there on saturday night, for the setting up of the stage n other stuff. Then, jy n gincent n me stayed overnight to look after the stuff, n I went home to change a bathe on sunday morning about 7am. DrumZout was a great success eventually, with the immensely exciting atmosphere, n the overly enthusiastic crowd! Haha.

My dad was eventually discharged from hospital after about 8 days. I then had to go for reservist on thursday. We got to book out on fri night, so good haha. Then the following monday, it was outfield for us, which lasted 3 days 2 nights haha. And on thurs evening, we got to book out to go home and keep our belongings, but I didn't go home; instead I took a cab to ntu medical centre, to get an endorsement for change of halls haha. Stupid hall office give me hall 11, sooooooo sucky. The doctor was veri anal about it, n only after some twisting of words n persuasion by me, did he reluctantly help me w it. Then on fri, after my reservist had ended, I took a cab again back to ntu to submit my medical memo to the 2 offices. And, the next day (saturday), I flew off to thailand for my wonderful trip!

Wow, when I arrived at the airport, we first took buses to kanchanaburi, n had a late meal there, before settling down in a guest house. It only costs 150B per night, which translates to only about $6 per night haha. We went to the erawan waterfalls, open safari zoo, floating market, hellfire museum, death railway, jeath war museum, etc, in kanchanaburi. Then we went to ayutthaya, whereby we visited temples mainly. And then it was sukhothai, which were also temples. Next up was chiang mai, whereby we did half hr of elephant riding, whitewater rafting, n bamboo rafting. Wow, it was fun haha. We also walked the night market over there.. So interesting sia haha. Afterwards, we went to Pai, in mae hong son, which was high up in the hills. It was different from the rest of thailand, in the sense that it was much cooler, n it's so touristy that there are probably more Caucasians than locals lol. Previously, we were biking around the different states, getting much exercise. Now in Pai, we rented an automatic motorbike, which was way cooler haha. Over at Pai, the most interesting has got to be the natural hot spring, which was really so hot you can see the mist! Haha.. There was also a canyon there too. Finally, we went back down to Bangkok, whereby we visited the grand palace n emerald buddha foc, cos we acted as if we were locals instead of tourists haha! That place was really grand, with sooooo many tourists. We went to patpong night market, silom night market, platinum shopping centre, ma boon krong shopping centre, and chat tu chak market. We also went to a snake farm, and watched 2 movies haha. The food over in thailand was also pretty nice too! And not forgetting cheap haha.. After the trip, I spent quite some time uploading the nice pics into facebook lol..

After the trip, it was FOC again for me haha. This time, I am attached to Thyra, thereby the 4 gls were all from the previous year's pollia lol! It was another fun week of FOC for me again, and also the last, as this was my final yr le =( After the foc, I had a movie outing w them, whereby we watched The Mummy at JP. Then, I also had a JC class gathering at vivo's Modesto's before school opened. I moved into hall on the friday before sch started, and yay, i got what i wanted! haha.

Now that sch has started, its sooo busy for me.. with sooo many projects! fyp, hrm, prof comm, web application design, computer security assignment, and finally driving lessons. Sighz..

Never mind, things will work out eventually haha ;p

My Surprise!

Yesterday morning, I woke up as usual at 7am for my boring work. When I went into the kitchen, I saw my belated bdae letter on the table. I quickly took it into my room, and after rise and shine, I opened up the letter with eager excitement.

Voila! Apart from a handmade letter, there are 2 cross stitches! 1 is a squarish teddybear holding a big red heart, and another is a rectangular bookmark with my name and date on it. I felt so happy. No words can describe that feeling =) I then took it to work to admire it every now and then haha.

After work ytd, I had a movie appointment to watch Forbidden Kingdom. Calvin was late; he had something at work cropping up last minute. JJ came at 7.20pm. I had thought it would be awkward as we were still relatively strangers, but turns out that JJ was quite friendly and we kinda hit it off quite well and good. Then calvin finally came at around 7.40pm, and we got into the cinema at 7.50pm. Luckily the show hadn't started yet.

Wa, it was a very lame, but still fairly entertaining show haha. After the movie, calvin rushed back to work, while the 2 of us went home. Sian, never had dinner yet, went back to eat myself haha.

Today is another boring day at work again, which is why I can't think of better things to do than to blog haha. Soo super sian.

and i went with cal for a bbq last fri. his landlord's dog bdae party haha. there were some other dogs present as well. got a big and super friendly golden retriever haha. his landlord's a cocker spaniel. we then watched andy lau's new show, 3 kingdoms on saturday. i won't say its a very superb show, but still not bad. maggie Q looks so evil and fierce in the movie haha.

also been doing some of my cca stuff. argh, sometimes really headache lor.. haha. tmr going meet LIME magazine people for some kind of partnership. hope to watch forbiddenkingdom on wed, i think it's gonna be nice haha.

also went sls buy a 1gb toshiba thumbdrive for only $11. now all these thumbdrives and memorycards are getting cheaper and cheaper. i'm buying it cos my dad wants a thumbdrive with mp3 so that he can listen in his new taxi's hifi system haha.

I'm currently playing ff7 crisis core on my psp. great game! Haha. and the cgi scenes are beautiful too! take a look at this scene, a fight between sephiroth angeal and genesis. so cool! all 3 of them are SOLDIER 1st Class, on same ranking. But sephiroth is sooo much stronger than the 2 of them. Angeal is the good guy, the main character's mentor. Genesis is the bad guy from the start. Sephiroth is a good guy initially, then went mad and became a 'bad' guy. He's the bad guy also in FF7, a 10 yo game. I didn't expect Sephiroth to be so strong haha. What a great fight!

Sorry for not updating for soo long haha. Hmm, let me recall what had happened. That day so paiseh, watched The Spiderwick Chronicles with k, then we went to Marina South, wanting to take bus to eat at the steamboat places there, but the bus driver told us that that place is demolished for a few months le. Lol. We didn't know sia haha. I know it will be demolished, but didn't know it's done already haha. Then we went to Bugis to eat at the Chong Qing steamboat lol. I liked the mushrooms and fish! Heee. Anyway spiderwick is a nice fairytale movie, I liked it. Seems that I liked all the fairytales haha.

And I also bought psp! Wahahaha. Been thinking about it since last year, but the feeling was on and off. Finally bought it. Now, I can look forward to playing it after my boring work. Currently playing FF7 Crisis Core. Nice game! Haha. I also downloaded and bought many games, those ISO games. Got about 50 inside my collection now haha. Cant finish playing de lol.

This week is my opsmanning week. Prepared alot for it. Asked my mum to sew my uniforms, gotta sew 4 tag sia. Sianz. Then also went to neesoon camp buy some stuff which I couldn't get from online emart. I bought $180 from emart haha, juz splurged on alot of things.

Got activated today. So sianz. Gotta go back, and then let them check my fieldpack, and then fall out. Then me and loke and marshal and yonghe and zw was at yewtee foodcourt, we chatted very long about many things, and also had dinner haha. I'm looking forward to this june's ict =)

I also applied for hall 16 this morning. Yay! I wanna stay in hall! Soo shiok and happy haha. ^_^

weekends

And so, another weekend has gone past. It is during IA period, that weekends to me, seem to pass so fast. Suddenly, it's all gone, and back to work again, whereby I shall not have enough sleep all the time.

I spent my weekend writing my logbook, playing games, going to the gym, going running, and using the computer and webcamming. In fact, I just ran finished, and had supper. Weekends just fly past so fast. How I wish I could have much more time for weekends.

I'm going to ITfair next week to get a 2.5" HDD, to backup all my files, music, videos, and pictures. And am also going to watch some movies, 10,000 BC among them, though I'm not sure when to watch it yet.

I feel sleepy now.

Oh my, I'm quite stressed over my project venues. Sigh. I really hope I can get it settled asap, don't wanna let it drag any longer. It's only another 3 months, and I haven't gotten it done yet. Today's the 1st day of cny. But I dont feel too happy. Abit sianz in fact. Every year's cny seems to be getting more and more boring with the years. Am now currently on ia, but very slack also. Just need to create a development server, and I haven done anything since start of ia. Still slacking haha. Recently read the news about edison chen and gilian chung and cecilia cheung scandals. I think edison is so screwed, he has ruined the lives and showbiz careers of the girls. Not only that, his own career is also ruined. Haiz. I think the person who distributed the pics are really evil. He/she shouldnt have done that. Anyway dont really feel like posting much nowadays. No mood also. Been typing lots of emails lately, so no need for blog le haha.

I had such a great time out on wednesday! First I came back after a sleep in hall, then i went out to watch ALVIN n the chipmunks.. a veri cute and entertaining show.. happy that A managed to watch it before flying.. then went to eat at kuishinbo, my first time eating there.. however jq puked, sighz, i felt veri helpless.. the food was nice, but the meal was even better than the food.. then we went outside and sat outside the skygardens.. then headed for thecathay and caught elizabeth.. i did sthg for the first time in a cinema haha! =) then went home and slept a peaceful night..

next day, i had a steamboat at justus house.. i left at 2.30 am for the airport to send jq off.. it would be quite long before jq comes back.. =(

i slept at 730am, and woke up at 6pm.. slept damn long.. mon's attachment le.. so sianz.. im feeling veri empty and lonely now.. sighz.. i hope u r right beside me.. nvm, looking forward to final year.. final year, shall be the best year i will enjoy in ntu for me! whee..

omg.. exams r juz round the corner.. next wed! sianz.. and im not prepared at all.. this sem die le.. this sem passed the fastest among all the semesters i've had, and is also the slackest for me haha.. went for 2 bdae chalets last weekend.. so tired and shag, fell sick too.. before that had a great time with b in town.. ate suki sushi and bought quite some stuff haha..

it was loke's bdae.. we had dinner at Ricetable at the building opposite cuppage.. it was a indonesian ala-carte buffet restaurant.. the food was not bad, though it doesnt warrant the price i feel.. nonetheless, we had a great time.. then stupid zw had to go airport (not again) to send his friend off.. he always has many friends going overseas >.< then the 3 of us went to play some pool at cuppage..

i splurged alot again.. bought a new bag, cologne, watch, and clothes.. sianz.. i loved them! but then i spent about $400 on them! damn poor now.. haiz.. and i still spend so much on food as well.. muz really cultivate the habit of thriftiness le!! but the cologne has such a nice intoxicating fragrance, i have been eyeing it for a few mths le.. its Versace 'eau fraiche'.. veri nice bottle and fragrance! and the watch was a sovil et titus! damn nice as well!! looks veri elegant yet casual.. i seriously have a habit of overspending sia.. now my bank is almost empty le..

watched 'the invasion'.. avg show onli.. then had dinner at bugis steamboat.. ate so much seaweed and vegetables, but no prawns and veri little meats stuff.. im so weird..

and im finally going to stop tuition soon.. haha.. its taking a big toll on me.. having to waste whole weekend for tuition.. cannot do my many many tons of other stuff haha.. been so busy with tuition, going out, school, gymming, and swimming.. muz stop tuition, else no time to mug for my test and exam le... this semester seems veri hard sia.. muz be more hardworking!!

hmm.. got quite lotsa things to update sia.. firstly, i received my 1st mth tuition pay, a measly $300 onli.. was $600, but deduct half for the tuition coordinators become onli $300.. even if $600 also veri little lor, about $13 per hr nia haiz.. but i still haf to stay on, cannot quit, cos kinda gave verbal agreement to teach til the kids exams, cos not good for the kids to keep changing teachers.. also, whenever i teach, i feel immersed in their world, forgetting bout the world im in.. its such a nice feeling mingling with the kids! haha.. they're so cute and interesting to be with! anyway, for teachers day, i was so surprised to receive a teachers day gift from a sec1 indian girl.. i realli din expect her to do that, though it was a simple gift, but she took the trouble to wrap it and gif it to me, a mere tuition teacher haha.. so nice! but last sunday, i damn suay! i reached the jurongeast center half hr earlier, onli to realise i did not bring the freaking key!!!! !@#$%.. in the end, i haf to take cab home, and back again.. wasted $30.. haiz.. how could i get so damn blur?!?!

jf came back from his usa work and travel program, after a few mths.. woot, see his blog, got so many nice pics of america.. im so going there after my last year exams haha.. think he wanna go again.. sl also haha.. he got me a ax belt which is a nice casual belt.. wa kaoz, though the food there is expensive ; cheapest fastfood meal at macdonalds is like USD7, but the 'branded' stuff there are damn cheap! a particular belt, which i bought at taka AX for $170, onli cost about SGD50 there!!! @#$%

met up for melvyn bdae as well.. we had dinner at the cine HK cafe again haha.. then we went to cuppage for billiard, then pool, then cs !! omg.. all the stupid, yet fun things i did when i was in sec sch.. same old cuppage haha..

for calvin bdae, we went to comex first on 1st sept sat.. i din gif tuition that day cos it was teacher's day! woot.. haha.. we went to comex and walk ard, and he bought a external hdd and thumbdrive.. then we went to sakura to haf buffet.. i ate sooo many ama ebi can.. those who dunno, its the japanese raw prawn.. i also ate many others, haha.. then we went to catch 'the last legion'.. it wasnt a veri nice show, after the likes of "300".. a veri average show..

anyway, i juz had my cheerobics first meeting.. in the end, i was chosen to be the cp.. i can foresee lotsa duties coming my way.. haha.. but i think its also fun.. i watched the videos on youtube, and realise that its a veri funfilled event.. i hope i can pull it off well.. haha..

since the start of this sem, i haf not studied any single f**k shit at all yet! im so deaded.. haiz.. and i haf skipped like, 20plus hrs of lectures?? haiz.. and i nv bother to look at online recordings.. juz cant find the time.. my time juz passes so fast for me!!! haiz.. i muz really pull up my socks le..

anyway, juz saw the news.. the famous 3 tenors, now left with 2 onli.. pavarotti has died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 71.. his voice is really amazing and powerful.. its a great loss for the musical classical world..

i went for my foc last wk 23-27 july.. was late on the 1st day morning haha.. was assigned to 2 grps.. called fabia and pollia.. had lotsa fun with them!! took sooo many pics.. 2.02gb in total!!! haha.. i lurve them !!

1st day, we gathered outside sch LT and played some icebreaker games whereby we intro ourselves.. then we went inside the LT and watched a lame video.. i tot this year's video was veri well done and farni! then we took a bus and arrived at bukitbatok teamNS adventure centre, or sthg like that.. after we put down our bags and some waiting time, we went to the obstacle course and waited again for briefing, then the freshies carried on with their obstacles.. it was a lousy program.. long waiting time, long 'speech time', not enuff time for freshies to try out all games, onli play 1 game but waited so long, and somemore pay so much... next time cannot haf such stuff again.. then we had spaghetti, i 4got whether it was for lunch or dinner, shld be dinner.. it sucked, cos it was too dry! then at night, we painted our OG banner.. i think this year, all the grps banner kinda cmi, anyhow do 1.. haha.. then we had 'night games'.. it was alright, though the place was abit small for the cosplay game because too little space for the grps to run around, and it was such a wet blanket when residents complained and police came and requested us to stop our games.. haiz..

2nd day, we had some 'forgettable' bfast.. then we went to sentosa, where we had our mass dance first.. then we had our beach games.. it was fun! but too bad, the weather was abit not on our side.. the whole 5 days were kinda gloomy cloudy or rainy.. and today, it was veri cloudy and windy and cold.. if onli it was sunny! haha.. then after that, dinner, waiting time, then we had our fright night.. i went in first w/ christina cos i needed to leave after the frightnight.. i tot the whole fright night was not scary at all.. the 'ghosts' were also lazy to scare us.. haha.. then after that i took the monorail express and went home..

3rd day, i woke up and went to sch in the afternoon for my intersem exam.. it was quite ez.. though got some parts i forgot how to do.. and the irritating thing was, my project group leader was sitting beside me, he's a total weirdo! but the irritating thing was, he 4got something for the exam, and kept making 'tsk tsk' noises.. and made loud gestures, that really distracts others.. then after that, i ate some stuff then met june for her convo.. took some pics with her, and also took some nice pics with the studio ppl who were there.. then i finally caught up with my ogs for the camp.. they told me that the day's amazing race was 'amazing'.. when they reached there, there was no ppl ard, and it turned out that the programmers were still sleeping and were late! and got subcomm even told them that it isn't even competitive, and they dun even need to run and rush.. wad a full load of crap! then we had canadian pizza for dinner sia! last year onli got 45 boxes.. this year got 90!! my god.. in the end, i think we threw away 20 plus boxes.. which is about $300 plus!! damn wasted, my cheese!! then after that was the sp interaction cum initiation night.. i had a SP.. i din even noe.. it was onli on mon that i knew, and then today morning then i faster got some rocher and wrapped it as the SP gift haha.. my nick was jack, while hers was rose, from Titanic haha.. all the nicks were from movies or cartoon heroes and such.. then everyone was blindfolded and led to their respective SPs, and when my SP was brought to me, she was blindfolded but not me! haha.. but i had to act as if i was blindfolded.. lol.. lucky im a gd actor haha.. told some lies as well.. said i was 1st year common engine and such.. we talked for such a long time.. i was tired, but she was more energetic than me! somemore, she had gone for engine camp last wk, and slept veri little, and she left camp on mon to meet up with her engine camp OG for outing and did not sleep at all for mon night, and on tues night after the frightnight, everyone slept for onli 3 or 4 hrs cos the bus came and fetched them back from sentosa onli at 3.30am.. so its such a miracle she was less tired than me haha.. then when we went for the initiation night, i did not go thru any of the stations at all.. the programmers helped me bluff thru.. lol..

4th day was the pool games.. it was such a pity that the pool games were cancelled onli after the 1st game had commenced due to bad weather! then we went to wash up and prepared for the SP night.. i went ard taking photos of ppl being tekaned.. it was so fun! then finally, when many ppl had gone, i went to 'fetch' my sp.. haha.. stupid ppl also tekan me.. i shall not reveal them here.. go ask james or cheewee ba haha.. then i felt that my SP was abit angry at me.. cos she realised that i had bluffed some stuff to her ytd.. haha.. hope she's a forgiving person! lol.. hey.. cutie cannot be so petty huh.. haha.. anyway she got over it pretty soon i felt, cos from the smses exchanged today(sunday) haha.. we went to pariss for our SP dinner.. i bet, all other camps will nv have a chance to go such a place for the SP dinner 1 .. haha.. anyway, i din haf much appetite to eat also haha.. i still remember, selina who kept beating her SP on initiation night, got chided by her SP cos he called her a crocodile for eating 10 small square cheesecakes haha.. i think its ok la.. the SP juz anyhow tease 1.. lol.. anyway, the SP games were BORING.. even my SP said so, after the 2 pathetic games ended.. so sianz.. then after that we went DXO clubbing.. last year freshies were not as on, they did not go down to the dance floor, but this year was totally different, so many ppl were dancing shortly we reached there.. so fun and hot! haha..

last day was also a wet blanket.. cos 1. there is no war games!!!! 2. the tour de ntu was also cancelled due to bad weather.. awwww.. then change to some others.. at night, we had a nice catered buffet dinner.. i really think it was not bad! then we had the skit presentation from every grp.. fabia grp damn farni.. yongsheng dressed up as ruhua.. so comical! then we had the combined cheerfight.. in which ended with my grps, fabia and pollia, collectively called 'popiah' coming in 1st!!! woot.. and pollia ada got best female freshie.. and fabia got overall best OG.. woot.. ^^^^^^

then sat so shag.. after reaching home on fri, i slept at 2plus am.. had to wake up on sat at 7am, cos i haf tuition from 930-5.. !@#$$@ so tired can.. sun also got tuition lor.. shag.. onli mon got to rest.. tues went out and watched simpsons.. damn farni and lame!! laughed alot throughout.. then went to have lunch at the HK cafe at cine.. dun ever try the western chicken chop.. it sucks.. haha.. wed went out for OG outing.. wa sianz.. my 2 grps having outing on same day.. argh.. i went for pollia first, dinner at vilage, then went coffeebean chat.. then i met fabia at eskibar and played stupid FOC games.. lol.. thurs went vivo, calvin passed me some stuff he got from thailand and philippines.. thanks! saw many nice clothes! my shopping desire has grown to an insatiable level again.. juz waiting for my tuition pay to come onli.. wahahhaah.. fri met up with my ventura maincomm.. woot.. so veri rare, that jared organised this outing.. we went to turfcity and had seafood.. wa we had lala, 5 jumbo really jumbo baked cheese oyster, 5 big crabs - 3 cooked blackpepper 2 cooked saltedegg, lotsa lotsa deepfried prawns, and soonhock fish!!!!! that is the type of fish which u onli eat in highclass restaurants and during wedding dinner, u cant get it outside and supermarket or wet market.. it costs $98 per kg.. we bought a super super big and heavy 1, cos there were quite some of us.. and the gigantic fish weighs 2.34kg!!! a hefty $180 plus!!! woot.. haha.. but luckily, now there is promotion for all seafood, half price onli, so that bloody big heavy fish onli $90 plus.. i still remember when we eat at wedding dinner, i cant eat much of tt soonhock, cos it is veri small has little meat, but that day, wah, we were trying to finish it sia.. all the other food also.. but wad i miss, are the oysters!! i wanna eat the veri jumbo cheese oysters.. they are thrice as big as wad u see in international buffet restaurants lor.. haha.. then sat i go tuition again.. sun after tuition, went ktv with pollia.. it was veri fun too.. hope can haf more ktv sessions soon.. haha..

sch officially starts tmr.. shall study harder from now on, for my remaining 2 years.. ;)

so sianz.. hmmm.. why?? cos it has been quite hectic these few wks for me.. gif tuition, lessons, gym, go out.. haiz.. no time to rest and slack at home.. i watched harry potter, and dam, waste of time and $, so boring... i haf watched every movie in the potter series, and i dun like anyone of them at all! so kiddish and fake, at least to me.. stupid me, will still go watch them.. haha.. all cos of the company la.. nonetheless, i tink fantasy writers are quite fantastic.. cos they can actually imagine and visualise such a imaginary fantasy world in their mind, and then pen it down, and add so many extra and meticulous details to them.. and i have always always thought that JK Rowling was a guy, til tt day i was in the gym and saw the tv there broadcasting channelnewsasia, and rowling is actually a female who was reading her stories to many kids! woot.. i have always stereotyped fictitious authors as usually male.. hmmm.. i wonder why.. anyway, i tink she has got many fans ard the world.. borders has got some event going on, and quite some ppl went there for dunno-wad in potter characters costumes.. and i saw on tv, many kids from other ctries also queued up veri long juz to get the newest book.. i wonder if she will really stop at this last 7th book.. i mean, the potter series is a fat cashcow, thinking rationally, she should be milking it dry.. haha..

i performed my presentation 2 for my intersem module.. sang a very old song, 'O Sole Mio'.. it was a neapolitan song, and many singers haf since sung it, with italians being the majority, thus it kinda became an italian song.. so nervous on stage! the teacher made us sing in the auditorium, and i was juz so nervous.. anyway she complimented me for memorising the lyrics.. then for the powerpoint presentation, i prepared the speech onli 1 hr before presenting, and i somehow could remember wad to say, so i juz spoke without looking at the memo, and my friends were saying how photographic a memory i haf.. hmmm, now that i think about it, haha, all my presentations in sch were juz spoken from my mind, i nv used the paper.. guess i haf quite a gd memory.. haha.. anyway, after this module, i realise my horizon has been broadened quite a far bit.. i now know more about the many music genres, got to know many famous artistes, got to know many nice songs other than the common chinese pop songs.. for the 11 pieces of songs which she asked us to choose from, there were celine dion's 'beauty and the beast', which is a veri soothing song.. phantom of the opera's 'all i ask of u', a touching love song.. the musical 'Cats' - Memory, which is another nice touching song.. and this jeff chang's bie pa wo shang xin, which i vaguely remembering hearing it a long time ago, but forgotten much about it.. its such such a nice nice nice song.. i haf also come to appreciate musicals, realising how hard it actually is.. i admire kit chan for her performance in the musicals.. i also hoped that my parents had sent me for some instrument training when i was young, like piano or guitar, cos when i see them playing on stage, i juz feel they are soooo cool.. also, music helps to cultivate the mind.. for the project, i did on Sarah Brightman, a person whom i haf never known before, til this course, and realise how famous and powerful and good a performer is.. juz go to youtube search for sarah brightman, and listen to her singing, wow, her voice is so gd and powerful, and her falsetto is soo veri well executed too..

i had my ict.. i realised i liked army life alot.. i missed army.. i miss it.. its fun definitely.. though quite slack and nothing to do for most of the time.. i was the driver, and i think driving is quite fun too.. oh, reminds me of my driving.. haiz, no time to learn sia..

before ict, i went jb again with jc gang on sat.. oh it was fun! had lunch at hongkong cafe, then went down to secret recipe, but i couldnt stomach down any cake.. then we walked ard, and i bought a berms.. then we went to holiday inn.. oh my, it was totally different frm that time i went with zy.. at tt time, there were many stalls selling original vcds on the outside, and when they saw prospective customers, they will beckon u into their secret door inside.. now, no more such stalls.. onli got maybe 5 ppl at the entrance, and when they see prospective customers, they will bring u to an ulu place at back shops, and the pirated vcds are inside.. haha.. then we went to haf seafood again.. we had 4 chilli crabs, venison, 'lala' aka clams, vegs, satays, soup, rice, fried mantou, drinks, and dunno wad else, for onli 22 ringit per pax.. haha..

i had my intersem.. it is fun, i muz say.. there are 2 presentations for singing, 1st is a song of ur own choice, 2nd is a song from 11 pieces by the teacher.. and there is also 1 powerpoint presentation, and an exam.. i juz sang mine on friday haha.. the lessons are quite interesting.. a veri gd choice for intersem haha..

oh, i watched transformers on the opening day, which was thursday.. wow.. it blew my hat off! it is the best movie so far, for this summer's onslaught of blockbusters.. its definitely much better than spidey3 and shrek3 and F4-2 and pirates3.. not onli me, june also said that.. then when i surfed forum, i realise that people were also saying how it overshone the other movies this summer.. wooo.. the onli grip i haf, is that they shouldnt haf changed megatron into a plane like starscream, it should haf remained as a laser cannon like in the cartoons.. nonetheless, its a great movie, with such great visual effects.. especially how the opening scene, Blackout, laid waste so easily to the army encampment.. its soooo cool.. haha.. read that there are going to be 2 more future sequels.. thats great! i love optimus prime!

and im currently giving tuition at woodlands and jurongeast tuition centre.. and i love giving tuition i realise! its so fun teaching the kids.. i get such great satisfaction when i noe that im helping them to understand how to solve the questions.. should haf started giving tuition earlier, like maybe last year, cos can earn more $ and gain satisfaction at the same time haha..

dearie bloggie..

so long nv blog le.. kinda bz lately.. but sometimes when not bz, also lazy to blog.. kinda sianz to blog le.. recently been bz with my proj module in sch, whereby i haf to go bak to sch everyday frm 9-5 to do 'Building Automation Monitoring System'.. its quite a complicated proj, nothing i haf ever done, but yet it is juz the tip of e iceberg compared to outside real working life.. i realise academic work is nthg compared to real life.. anyway, w/o the poly ppl in our grp, i guess the rest of us would haf to go and join other grps as we do not know wad to do at all.. we are all quite serious in our work, everyone doing their part diligently, and progress is gd.. if fact, we are having our presentation to our supervisor tmr, then after that will haf a presentation for the prelim rounds of a competition whereby every proj haf to take part in, and if we got into e finals, then the final will be held next next tues in LT.. which means, the latest we finish our proj is next tues! earliest would be next wk i guess.. woot.. so sianz of waking up at 6am everyday, even sch term also dun haf earli morning lessons everyday.. and, in our grp, im ok with everyone, except i dun like the leader, he has an attitude prob, tink his social handling skills need some brushing up.. in fact, everyone is almost so crappy, so fun.. haha.. anyway, results will be out on 8th june i heard.. so fast, earlier than last year's.. hope this time rd, my results will improve significantly..

other than schooling, i tink i caught a few movies.. i dun like spiderman, tink its too long, abit draggy, and too many characters which failed to deliver them more in-depth.. but i liked 200 pound beauty, it was comical, touching, and veri entertaining.. nowadays, my 'interest' in movies seem to be dying down..

had my senior camp ytd.. it was quite ok.. but not veri high.. cos maybe got quite some new faces.. and they did not manage the dividing of the grps properly, thus ending up my grp almost everyone dun really know each other.. though it was still quite ok, but i hope the real camp wun be so unevenly distributed, else it will be a great disaster.. din go for today's cos its kinda sianz, also cos i need some rest, else veri shag..

tot i will be able to put it down and leave it behind me finally, yet, realized i still cant..

so sian.. dunno wad to write.. lemme see.. i watched tmnt? not a veri nice show.. i watched pathfinder, even suckier show.. i ate sakura again, felt abit sick during eating, perhaps i ate too much unagi haha, so nice.. i ate cafe cartel pork ribs.. i went to some place in tpy with family eat some 'xue3 yu2 yan4', juz a coffeshop which 'specialises' in codfish.. had codfish head curry, and some others.. i went jb ytd, kuku yj actually forget to bring passport right at the immigration counter where we had to present our passports.. so sianz.. i went with oil first to jb lor, and there were so darn long queues at msia customs.. we ate secret recipe while waiting for her to come, but this time i had some coffee cake instead of cheesecake.. then she finally came after so long haha.. then we went plaza pelangi make specs, oil wanna make.. then ate some jap restaurant, i had chicken katsu with curry.. then went back cityhall, i was so late! late for 1 half hr.. haha.. then ate ichiban with d2.. not bad food with reasonable pricing.. can consider gg again.. somemore, the 2 jap restaurants stirred this salmon crave in me.. haha.. anyway i muz say, wo huai nian de is such a sad song, it makes me sad everytime i listen to it.. wad a wonderful song, with such big 起伏.. its such a hard song to sing, yet she managed it veri nicely.. anyway hope to go jb again for cheesecakes and ktv and movie and shopping and seafood and buy dvd again haha..

i went for lasik on mon.. hmm.. it was a scary process of waiting to go in.. waited quite long outside.. when i went in, the doctor first force the right eye open with some device.. then he use some round ring and suck my eyeball, oh my, tt was real scary.. and i couldnt see anything at all when it was sucking my eyeball.. then he used some microkeratome and cut a flap in the cornea.. then released the suction and i could then see again.. then he use something to lift open the flap, and when he lifted the flap, everything became super bright.. then he asked me to focus on this red light while the laser does its thingy.. and shit, i shifted my eye upwards abit, and i heard the doc exclaim 'shit' then he paused the machine and ask me to focus on the light, then he started again.. after the laser, he close bak the flap and use some pad and smooth out the air bubbles.. then place a contact lens in to sort of cover the flap and prevent it from opening.. then he did the same for the left eye, and the left eye went without a hitch.. then i kept tearing in my right eye after tt.. took a cab home and slept from 6pm til today 9am.. and i felt tt my left eye was quite clear, but right eye abit blurred and overlybright.. went bak for review today, and my left degree was 25 while right was 50.. haiz.. dunno izzit cos i shifted my eyeball up abit.. hope it will recover soon..

i watched 300 twice ! its quite a nice show.. after watching it, i realise tt veri veri veri few, if any at all left in this current age, have the spartans bravery and courage.. they would willingly sacrifice themselves for the country, even if they know that its a 100% chance that they would die.. at e end, though leonidas and his 300 haf sacrificed, but the magnificient scene of the 10k spartans and 30k greeks going to war with persia was so inspiring and touching.. if onli 300 spartans can kill so many many persians, i can imagine the damage that 10k spartans and 30k greeks can do.. w00t.. anyway e graphics were quite nicely touched up.. and the violence was not gory at all.. it was veri artistically done, even with all that decapitating of heads and slicing of arms and legs..

it was k bdae.. we went to haf lunch at sun & moon dining at wheelock place, e previous restaurant i worked at after ord.. but this 1 was its branch, the 1 i worked at was at chijmes.. hmm.. the food was indeed veri nice.. haha.. i like the kamameshi and its veri fresh and sweet sashimi and its plain rice.. woot.. then we caught norbit.. another bloody lame movie.. but it wasnt as nice as epic movie though.. haha.. then went to marina south for my previous foc gathering steamboat..
so sianz.. the rain started since yesterday til today haven stopped yet..

spent about $400 for my shopping before cny.. that was really alot.. the most i haf ever spent for any thing.. haiz.. i muz really save..
cny was boring.. same old boring cny every year.. but at least got to play some billiard finally after so long nv play on 2nd day of cny haha..
also caught epic movie.. super uber lame show.. how can any show be so lame.. hahaha.. laugh my guts out..
then there was becks bdae party at pariss.. i think pariss seriously sucks.. it used to be ok, now its standard has taken a nosedive.. muz avoid there from now on..
been regretting alot of stuff lately.. keep thinking bout e past.. beginning to feel that im living in e past already.. hai.. how can ppl compensate for something that they regret? really dunno.. guess the easiest way is to be an 'ostrich' or 'turtle'.. hahaha..

haiz.. life is so fragile.. after finishing 1 litre of tears, i felt that its really a fortune for us to be able to walk, jump, run, move about like normal ppl.. in fact, like wad the poor girl said when she put her hand to her chest, " i am already satisfied, for my heart is still beating "
haiz.. she couldnt predict that misfortune that befell her so suddenly and out of the blue.. that was a real tear jerker.. and also, juz this week, on sunday night, xu wei lun died too due to a car accident.. i read on newspapers that she suffered huge impact to her face and chest, resulting in bloatedness.. and died soon after on sunday 28jan 7.37pm.. life's so fragile.. we muz start to appreciate everything, and really EVERYTHING, before all is lost..
some kind of feeling juz overwhelmed me the other day, when my mum came back from J8 and showed me a new esprit red jacket.. she was beaming with joy, and said " i am so happy, this is the first time i bought a branded clothing " .. sighz.. i dun even think that esprit is branded, but to her, it is already branded, bought it for $60 plus.. she saw it in my bro's room which belong to his new gf, and went out to buy.. i muz strive for high income in future, to make my family happy.. buy more stuff and clothes or whatever that pleases them, and make them happy and enjoy the most of their retirement, before their inevitable departure from this world..

hmm.. been quite long here.. went for more shopping.. oops.. im broke!.. haha.. caught deathnote2 as well.. nt bad.. ate sakura also.. haha.. so funny, that day no intention to eat buffet, then suddenly zy suggest eating buffet then go eat le.. lol.. then i had a tattoo this week.. whoo.. but i think gotta go back for touchup in march, cos got a small spot where the ink seems to be lacking.. had sakae buffet with my jc friends as well.. went jb yesterday, bought quite a few dvds, and ate crabs.. lol.. so fun.. gotta go there again one of these days.. sch's starting, am i prepared for it? prepared to slog it out? i guess i shld be.. i muz study hard for next sem.. haha..
still waiting for my 1 litre of tears to arrive in my letterbox, and for the dvd from msia to deliver to me.. haha.. then i can stay at home, so homely feeling..

caught the museum on wed.. not very entertaining, at least for me.. i felt it was quite bored, though it was quite humourous at parts, but overall, not very nice for me.. some parts were totally lame.. haha.. anyway before that finally went got some clothes, my cupboard need some new stuff lol.. then after the movie, went with zy to get his xmas gift xchange party.. then had supper at the outdoor foodcourt at meridien hotel.. hmm, the wanton mee was very nice.. the noodles, charsiew, wanton, and sauce was very tasty.. quite long nv eat nice mee le haha..
i hate the weather lots.. cannot go swimming.. go out also so mafan.. haiz.. sianz, been going out these few days.. muz save money le.. haha.. no work = no money.. what with the upcoming parties and bdae and jb trip, haiz.. maybe get some money from parents.. lol..
anyway, i guess im becoming more and more of a jay chou fan.. keep on listening to his songs onli, and skipping others.. haha..

o0 eragon was nice.. when saphira juz hatched, it was so cute, so damn cute! how i wished i had a pet like it.. so really really very cute.. omg.. i love it.. then when it grew up, it was such a gd and obedient pet.. willling to die first, sacrifice first, then let its master die.. if the pet die, the master goes on ; if the master die, the pet will suicide.. oh, such a touching tale.. though the story is very typical of those medieval tales, but i enjoyed it nonetheless.. though it doesnt garner raving reviews, i still like it alot.. hope it will carry on the trilogy and produce the 2nd and 3rd part soon.. wonder if saphira will grow to be as big and menacing as the evil king's own dragon haha.. anyway, it was quite touching at some parts as well.. especially at the end, when saphira was almost dying, and eragon used all his might to heal it/her, it was so touching.. could hear sniffing in the theater.. guess its most likely pet owners like me haha..
went to sony warehouse sale ytd.. it was quite nicely put up, but it was not a very big exhibition.. i wanted to buy the mdr ex71 earphones, but too bad they were not selling there.. onli their bravia lcds, digicams and walkman mp3s.. but i met a same battalion but bravo battery guy working there.. i nv saw him but he came and approach me, then he told me another officer also working there.. guess who? tan fong guan sia.. haha.. but i nv see him though.. then had to keep rushing, cos somebody was late for bbq.. haha.. so early have xmas bbq.. so funny lol..
when i reached home, woo.. my hitachi 42" plasma was finally here.. after tweaking it for quite sometime, im quite satisfied with its picture quality.. wad a gd deal at onli 2.4k haha.. now watching tv will never be the same again lol.. still waiting for the oppo dvd player to be in stock at bukit timah plaza, and when we finally get hold of it, then can finally connect the player to tv via hdmi connection.. and then can upscale a normal dvd 576p to hd 1080i/p.. yeah.. been eyeing this dvd player, due to gd reviews from forums and net.. haha.. it keeps going out of stock.. waiting for ps3 to be finally officially launched in sg, and for it to drop price, and for modifications to be available, then can finally buy it and connect via the 2nd hdmi input to my tv.. whoo.. high definition tv and dvd and gaming.. haha..

sianz.. last sat went to haf chocolate buffet at fullerton.. loke say 28, in the end bill come is 43 per pax, add up other charges total is 196 sia.. heng i pay by uob card, 10% off become 176, else really wasted.. dun think its worth it at all, maybe cos im not a chocolate connoiseur haha.. i dun fancy chocolate at all.. all cakes and pastry, so chocolatey.. after juz 3 servings of pastry, so full le.. cannot eat anymore.. dun think i will go for choco buffet anymore.. not my type haha..

dear bloggie.. its been 1 mth since i wrote here.. and so coincidentally, there's going to be 1 mth break for me til next semester.. haha.. all due to exams.. lol.. stupid exams made me no mood to write anything..
my bro had a bdae party at 'cube' near club momo there.. sianz he wasted $600 bucks for booking the place.. and he got my dad to pay for it.. i think its kinda wasted, i would rather choose a catered dinner at some condo with ktv and billiard and all that.. rather than the club, cos nobody was dancing there... the atmosphere was quite dead.. and i feel so sianz.. somemore got exams next week..
anyway, i upgraded my gfx to msi 7900gtx on the day before my 1st paper on 15nov.. the person came to my house and i bought from him then i tested for quite a long time sia.. before that, i was busy with trading my laptop with another person for a powerful desktop as well.. sianz.. waste SO much time on my pc and gfx.. so distracting.. but anyway, i bought this 7900gtx for juz $400 bucks nia.. so cheap, though the person lost the receipt, but still can claim warranty based on the serial no. and the warranty card i think.. its onli 2 mths old according to him, and he selling cos he bought the uber expensive 8800gtx.. rich brats.. anyway, im getting dam high framerates than ever.. so nice to enable all the eye candies in games.. lol..
and i have been playing games almost every night sia.. haiz.. was playing cs and hl2.. then after about a week or so, changed back to swkotor2.. still remember i bought the games, then stopped playing cos of maple and other stuff.. now going back to play it.. anyway i felt i was quite slack during the exams.. nv really study hard, keep having lotsa distractions, play games, and all that.. haiz.. and i skipped even more lessons this sem than my last 2 sems combined.. even skipped tutorials.. so slack.. but i think this sem results shld be better than last 2 sems.. haha..
caught casino royale on thurs... quite a nice, though lengthy show.. i haf to say, i like the new james bond cos he is more charismatic than the previous pierce brosnan, though he is old.. he's more buffed up than the older versions, and seems to carry off that james bond character better.. oh yeah, before that was my mum's bdae celebration, my bro and her and i went to tpy sakura to eat... i think not nice.. orchard shopping center nicer.. haha..
looking forward to eragon! so nice, got dragon! my favourite.. i saw the trailer for spidy3 as well.. looks so cool.. but still long.. same for transformers and ninja turtles.. haha..

was listening to 933fm last sat.. juz happened to hear the live broadcast of the music awards.. kinda big that is spanned over a few asian countries.. andy lau and stef sun and some other big shots got come, 'cept these 2 : jay and jolin.. the 2 j's always dun come.. so stuck up.. haha.. anyway i watched the covenant ytd.. quite an entertaining show.. not very good, but at least it feeds my senses.. cos i enjoy watching such supernatural shows.. the 5 guys inside were like miniature version of Phoenix, with exact same power.. haha.. even the eyes glowed dark red also were copied from phoenix maybe? haha.. it's a cool movie, but not a really good 1.. but still nice.. haha.. haiz exams coming soon, but still no mood to study.. sian.. juz traded my laptop for a desktop thru the net.. it was a opty 165 that is oc-ed to 2.9 ghz.. even the FX 62 stock at 2.8ghz onli.. but due to it using ddr2 memory, i would say the performance of my processor is about the same as the fx62 sia.. and about the same or a lil faster than the conroe e6600.. wahahha... though still lose to the x6800 and the juz released qx6700, but still very fast.. ^^ looking to sell away the 6800gt that came with the system, and either get a pc x1950pro, or xv 7900gs, or a 2nd hand x1900xt 512.. haha.. yeah! my system is again duper fast! lol.. i think i will get an entire new pc in 2 years time.. though now intel has reclaimed the performance crown with its conroe and the quad core processor, however i believe when next year amd release its quad core, it will claim it back.. its always like this in the technology world : the performance crown between rivals will switch between each generation of processors, same for graphics card.. haha.. but i wonder what will happen to the future of personal computing : there is onli so much the number of processors that can be fitted onto a mobo, what will happen when that day comes.. haha.. guess its like saying, what will happen when the north and south poles finally melt and drown the whole world, maybe by then, im no longer in this world le.. lol.. oo00, im dying to catch 'an inconvenient truth', 8days gave them 4/5 stars.. the trailer displayed some breathtaking scenes.. cool! haha..

oo000, its nice.. nv knew got this type of manga before.. anyway i really like the death god ryuk inside.. so cute sia.. when it flies around, it looks so much like a big big biggie mosquito.. so funny.. the big eyes and face looks so mosquito-ish.. and it really acts cute most of the time.. his reaction: "omg no apples for me ?!?!", when light told him that he cannot feed him apples when there are security cameras in his room.. i also liked the part at the end when he told light that he is more like a death god than a real death god.. he's a true devil.. there are many instances where the devil say something, which are really so cute.. ryuk aside, the 2 main characters inside are real geniuses.. they can figure out so many things beforehand and plan until so meticulously.. i take my hats of them sia.. if onli i'm as clever as them haha.. looking forward to the sequel this year end christmas period.. haha.. i also muz watch covenant.. the characters inside haf special powers akin to Phoenix.. haha.. telekinetic power.. so cool sia!

was at ps collecting my mp3player from warranty which my mum spoilt after juz a few min.. she pluck out the on/off button.. so cute sia... lol..
after that was at vivocity.. hmmm.. big, indeed it is.. lost, easily one could get.. i cant even imagine how much $ was spent into building this behemoth.. it seemed, so huge.. wow, huge is an understatement.. i saw my sgt major there, but i quickly siam him cos i dunno wad to say to him also.. dun tink he saw me, cos the sheer amt of people there acted as my delusion to him.. haha.. i think, to spend finish shopping over at vivo, 1 would need at least 2 days.. u cant finish walking and shopping in juz 1 day.. its so darn big.. and there are 3 foodcourts i think.. 1 at the top level, and 2 side by side at the basement.. top i think is foodjunction, bottom 2 side by side is kopitiam and thebanquet.. no fastfood though, but got quite some coffee company.. and the supermarket there seemed so high class.. selling all the xpensive organic food.. stuff i nv seen before at ntuc or coldstorage.. anyway, i digress too much bloggy.. i was there to buy my lcd monitor.. finally, i haf enuff of my small puny laptop screen, and bought a 19" aoc lcd there.. for juz $299.. very cheap.. haha.. anyway jialat, this weekend nv study at all.. die.. im too slack le.. muz buck up.. next week got 2 quiz.. haiz.. not forgetting my project presentation.. sian..

last sat went out for zw bdae.. ate tony roma.. so dam ex.. and i prefer cafe cartel ribs over tony roma.. cafe cartel softer and juicier, but tony roma so dry.. cos its bbqed.. though 'higher class' of cooking, i still prefer cafe cartel's.. so nice.. yummy..
heard there was a man who died by committing suicide at the hands of the mrt again.. cut into 3 pieces.. my mum told me cos he earn $500 per month onli, and has to support his wife and kids, and cannot take the stress so went to commit suicide.. i felt so sad.. to tink i keep spending so much, and yet there are ppl out there who are so pitiful.. i guess i really gotta be contented with life.. i mean, dun always find fault with my current life already, and muz also be more filial..
been looking ard alot lately at plasmas and lcd for my dad.. he intending to upgrade.. after so long of deciding and thinking, i haf finally settled on pioneer new 7th generation 42" plasma.. but haven went to shops to buy yet, cos i tink maybe not out yet.. its RRP is $5299.. so ex.. hope that some other shops might sell for $4800-$5000 ba..

it was kt bdae last fri.. sort of a gathering on sat.. planned to go viviocity to catch rob b hood, but then ck say too crowded, sure cannot get tix, then we went to marina to watch instead.. had dinner at marina square's Dian Xiao Er.. the roasted herbal duck was quite splendid indeed.. while the other dishes, while nice, not really fantastic.. and the price kinda dun warrant a second trip i guess.. think 'san zhong liang jian' cheaper by quite alot and yet haf nice food as well, lest the duck.. anyway rob b hood was quite nice.. when i was young, i used to think onli that jacky chan was good in fighting movies, but now, i appreciate him more.. because he is quite old already, and is still so fit and can do so many stunts and fighting scenes.. really appreciate it, wonder when im old, will i still be as fit as before.. anyway the show was very nice, due to the timely comedian scenes, and the blardy super duper uber cute cute cute baby.. i love the baby! if onli he's mine! lol.. anyway, they got lian kai, daniel wu, and nicholas tse as 'ke chuan'.. daniel wu and nicholas tse scenes so damn funny also.. haha.. anyway its a nice show.. i still gotta say, i love the baby.. so very cute.. oh ya, forgot to say, jacky chan and louis khoo sort of gave up on being thieves, and would rather sacrifice their lives for the baby.. kinda touching as well.. it reminded me, of the sacrifice parents would make for their kids.. i can kinda predict, i will also be the type who will do anything for my babies! lol..

i went to work for this Shell fuel economy challenge on sun.. its kind of an annual competition held annually by Shell as some sort of promotion.. there were 150 cars in it, and it was kinda a puzzle, whereby the cars will drive to a shell station, then get some clues on which station to go next.. the stations are spread out throughout singapore.. and each station got different country themes, cos shell wanted to make it like the ppl are travelling around the world, and i was at the havelock road station, which is thailand.. and i collected the costume on fri le, then when i wore it, my partner and the team manager there felt that i look like a real thai wor.. haha.. look like some thai prince from anna and the king lol.. and then she mentioned she learnt before in sec sch history, bout this thai prince who then took over the throne from his father and become the king, and there is this university in bangkok named after him, and then kept teasing me that i look like a thai prince lidat.. lol.. then i saw jean danker as well, who was represening the media i think.. there were ppl taking many photos and videos as well, so fun.. then when the cars reached, my job was to greet them sa wa di kap.. haha so fun.. anyway, i miss thailand! hope can go overseas soon, either this year end or next year 3mth break.. muz go haha.. or go other places also can, like hk lol..

had a class gathering on sat.. big grp really hard to settle down to a decision.. went to nyny at citylink, and realised it had a long queue.. then went to marina sq and couldn't decide on wad to eat.. either this person dun like this, or that person dun like that, or the place no places for such big grp.. haha.. eventually we ate at spageddies.. ok ok onli, onli thing i remembered was rongquan's lasagne.. think it was the onli nice food there.. really big lasagne.. yummy yummy !
then we went walk walk and eventually came to esplanade.. and this malay band from superband was performing there.. and some of them kinda got glued to the place.. wahahaha..
then ytd tues night, caught 'the banquet' again at thecathay. exactly 1 week from the 1st time i watched it, and at same place same timing somemore.. so qiao.... lol.. 2nd time thru, i think its really a very nice film.. the director is really quite gd i think.. looking forward to 'curse of the golden flower', another monarch type of show with these type of emperor setting.. starred by chow yun fat and gong li and jay chou... watched the trailer already, think its gonna be very nice again.. with great cast and director zhang yimou, think its perfect for this year christmas blockbuster again.. wahahah..
anyway, i felt very happy ytd night.. ^^

i went for the terry fox run on sun.. last week before the dinner with my d2, we signed up for the run at wheelock.. then that day i woke up at 530am, but then i was still very very late in reaching harbourfront mrt.. haha.. then when i finally reached harbourfront, there was a big rain.. really dampening.. we took the shuttle bus to sentosa and found that the run had already started.. then we quickly found a locker at some restroom and deposited our bags inside.. then during the run, i tink i took too heavy a breakfast, thats why my tummy pain.. after the run, we bathe abit then went to eat at the market at harbourfront.. but i still feeling very full, so nv eat much, juz had fish soup.. then we went to harbourfront center and shopped at the BiG megastore.. i bought a small mouse for $5 onli, while zw bought a mouse and dunno wad else.. then i went home le..
caught the banquet ytd.. hmm very nice show.. the gory effects and other visual effects were very beautiful, and the storyline is a mix between complex and complicated and yet simple.. i dunno how to explain.. nice show overall..

hmmm.. school life basically is juz gg to school, then having lunch either at can b or can 2 or can 4, but usually is jp.. sianz food after so many days.. thurs i skipped my pe again.. haha.. this is the 5th week, and i onli went for 1 week nia, jialat lor.. then caught the host in the evening.. kns show.. really lame show lor.. i cant believe i watched it and wasted my time in the cinema.. haiz.. the monster cannot fight with godzilla or king kong la.. looks like a seal, with some sharp teeth mouth.. and the show really very lame lame lor haiz.. then after the show, i dunno why dun feel hungry, ate congee, while jeff ate dumpling noodles..
then todae, i dam slack haha.. slack so much at home, and supposed to be 3hr lecture, but i went for 1half hr nia, was late for the other 1half hr haha.. then had lunch inside the lt.. then after school, went to lib 2 find materials for the 2pid tech comm project.. but i left halfway cos had to meet june for dinner.. haha think they can handle it ba.. then met june and we went to town.. supposed to eat cafe cartel and watch some other movie, but then decided that we had not enough time le, cos it was already 7pm.. no time to eat and watch movie, so we went to eat sakura haha.. onli a few items were nice nia, the rest not nice.. but nvm la, can eat can already.. cannot complain so much.. haha, happy belated bdae june! lol..
btw bloggy, i love my speakers! the m audio sonica theater and my aego m, are really fantastic! so nice.. coupled with my upgraded speaker cables from sim lim tower, wow! i realise i cannot encode mp3 at 128 kbps anymore, cos they sound awful on my soundsystem.. muz encode at 256 i tink.. haha..
suddenly, i feel like saying, mummy and daddy, i love u.. ^^ but i know i can never say that to them, juz hope they can feel it..

todae i woke up, but not enuff time go pool... haiz.. nvm weekend then go.. haha.. then ate a piece of bread for bfast, then went sch.. then reached sch felt hungry, packet vegetarian food to eat in Lt.. wa aunty gif me so much food haha.. then i cannot eat finish inside the lt, then juz throw away.. then rest of lecture no mood to listen.. then finish lesson le, i accidentally stepped on k slippers, then it broke haha.. then saw wh, he tot of stapling the straps together lol.. then we went to jp and she bought a new slippers.. haha.. then drank bubble tea and went to sls to buy my new speakers! so nice.. aego m speakers.. i bought it for $360.. so ex for a 2.1 speaker.. but then, its high fidelity speaker for music, so i dun mind.. i lurve music.. im very satisfied with the speaker, but not with the inbuilt sound.. so sucky.. waiting to buy an external soundcard soon, to match the prowess of aego m.. haha..

last sat was mel bdae.. we went to eat dim sum at hong xin at chinatown earli in the morning.. supposed to meet at 930 am, but i arrived at 10am.. haha dam late.. then took cab there, cos we dunno how to walk.. in the end, it was so short a journey haha.. then we ate total $83, but not very nice to my tastebuds.. haha.. then we went to play billiard at cuppage.. then play cs, wa so long nv play liao.. miss those old times.. haha.. then after that went to watch love wrecked at thecathay with jaz.. then had dinner at ajisen at taka, wa the noodles really nice.. haha.. anyway love wrecked also quite a lighthearted show, funny as well.. and i met june and indra there at thecathay.. so qiao.. they went to watch something the beat that made my heart skip a beat.. haha..
mon i sold my laptop, and got a new one again haha.. i bought the ultraportable type.. so nice! i lurve it.. haha..

fri i after sch had dinner at SAC with the foc guys.. kinda a farewell last dinner gettogether.. feels kinda sad.. then went home, and then woke up feeling strange strange.. then after going gym, i feel so full though i haf not eaten anything for the whole day.. then ate 2 popiah at the coffeeshop, but i still feel so bloated.. funny.. then changed and went to j 21st bdae party.. it was fun, and the 3 tier chocolate cake was nice! but i felt so sick, my tummy so bloated, then i cannot eat anything though i haf not eaten anything.. it juz keep churning and churning.. haiz.. then i went home, had some medicine, then abit of diarrhoea, then sleep.. todae wake up, tot ok le, then went out watch 'click' a 2nd time with my maple guild friends, though i nv maple le.. din wan to go, but since lmf treat all of us, then i go wahahaha.. then after watching, went to have dinner at the old marche, now called village restaurant le.. after eating, i felt so much like puking, and the bloated feeling and churning feelin came back again.. argh!! tink tmr gotta go sch then during break time go see doctor at medical centre le, hope get some medicine asap, cos i hate this bloated feeling.. >.<

ok slowly slowly.. starting was the foc camp.. tink was quite fun.. so many nice and new freshies.. more than my batch 1 by 20 plus ppl.. fright night was fun, got to scare ppl haha.. then last night finale night the food also quite nice.. but everything was quite fun, except the last night, during the cheerfight, when all the other 3 ogs 'gang' up against pota og.. that was because, everyone felt that pota freshies were very snoobish.. i felt sad, cos i liked all my 4 ogs. and seeing that made me sad.. anyway slept dam late every night, not enuff sleep !
then sat i went out watch dragon tiger gate with jp.. quite a nice martial effects flick.. but quite poor storyline haha.. then sun went gym, and my frend brought cheesecake for me! so nice! really taste like coffeebean or other types of nice cheesecakes out there! haha.. then at night ate with my mother's side for my aunt's bdae.. then mon supposed go sentosa, in the end nv go, juz went to jp house slack slack til very late.. tues i watched hoodwinked, tink its not nice at all, then had supper at esplanade makan sutra.. then wed went out had dinner near great world city.. then todae went jp had lunch with k, then go sch for dental appt, and orientation talk, then meet friend for dinner.. haha..
my this whole week going to be busy again, haiz.. but still very happy haha..

haha i bought a new hp on fri.. i bought the samsung ultra slim edition '6.9' sgh-x820.. uber duper slim.. last time that moto v3 13.9mm, then the moto L6 and L7 10.9mm, this 1 6.9mm onli !!! really unbelivably slim haha.. so chio !! i lurve it so much.. hehe..

time fly so fast.. last fri go back sch src swimming pool to try out pool games.. got sunburnt.. been a long time since i go tanning.. all cos of 2pid work lol.. then finish le, after lunch go back cac room evaluation.. sianzzz.. so long then can go home haha.. then sat went xiuwens bdae at sentosa sijori resort.. so far sia.. sianz again.. travel and travel.. then sun night go eat for daddy birthday.. and i quarrelled with my bro again.. haiz always quarrel.. tues went to chinatown to buy some paint and poles and cloth for the foc banner painting.. so hot! and the stuff so heavy.. i sweat so much sianz.. then after that go back jp supermarket buy the prizes for the ogs.. bought some biscuits chocolates and stuff like that.. then go bak sch for filming of the skit sianz.. end sooo late again haiz.. then todae juz came back from east coast park.. went there cycling, then after that, dinner waited a long time at the eating place there for becky and wh to come.. so late sia.. then eat quite alot of stuff haha.. got stingray sotong chickenwings kangkong oysteromelette, and i ate fried rice instead of plain rice haha.. tink next week's cable skiing will be fun lol..

i watched silent hill on tues.. went into the cinema late and the show started already.. K la ! late.. haha.. anyway the show was quite gross.. got this scene, a teenage gal, got caught by the pyramid head monster.. then the monster grab her neck in the air, then tear away her cloak, then tear away her SKIN.. wa that scene so grossly.. tear away the whole body skin machiam tear away her clothes liddat.. kaoz.. then the policewoman cybil, got burned on a ladder alive.. wa it was also very scary being burned alive.. then after the show eat hans spaghetti.. though spaghetti not that nice, but at least got cheese!.. and the chicken got alot also haha.. then we went to marina square cos i wan buy the new creative zen v.. then alas, i reached there no stock.. i called in the afternoon, they say got 2 stock there, then when i reach there they say i nv reserve so sell away le.. kaoz.. they should haf asked lor.. how i supposed to know can reserve this kinda thingy.. haiz.. then i saw aaron kwok at the longines shop there.. tink he come singapore cos he is the ambassador for the longines watch, then he inside talking to dunno who, then many ppl crowding outside haha..

tues i went down.. wa starting was quite slack listen to the person talk talk.. then later afternoon shag sia.. assemble all those metal racks for displaying stuff.. tough.. then heng todae i dun need to go.. some others then need to go todae to assemble more.. i rather dun work todae, cos assembling is really tiring.. then i tink my last day also not going to work.. say i sick.. haha.. cos dismantling even more shag! lol..
then todae i went gym, but before i went, i had prata at my kopitiam downstairs.. then ar, i sit there, this guy whose more mature face doesn't match his kiddo body, sitting beside my table, keep looking over sia.. then finally he stand up and walk over to my table and ask if the chair got ppl sit anot.. zzz.. then i eating and drinking that time, he keep looking.. sianz.. i feel so uneasy.. then i eat finish, wipe my mouth with my tissue, then i friendly abit, ask him wan tissue anot, then he juz snatch very quickly the tissue over, and smile and say very guniang : thank u ar.. wa kao..
then i stand up and walk to the gym, which is about 10-15 min.. and he juz keep following behind.. zzzz.. can hear his slippers sound so clearly!.. then finally, when im about to reach the gym, at which time he has been following for very long le, then i turn over and ask him where he's going.. zzzz.. he sick, go see doctor, still dun wan go home.. haiz.. then he follow me to gym.. then i was at gym for 1 hr, he waited outside the whole time! then i go running at the stadium, he wait there.. zzzz.. then i finish liao go drink my protein drink, then i take my bag and leave.. then i cannot see him at this time, tink he go toilet or wad, then i quickly leave.. then when i was quite far distance frm the gym, i looked back, wa he following.. then i walk walk, then finally he nv follow le.. tink he go back gym and look look see see again.. hiakz.. this the WORST case i had so far together.. beli atrocious sia.. he said he 27 yo le, still no jobs, and to me, i feel that he is abit mentally unstable type of ppl.. scary sia.. lol..

caught Cars ytd at the cathay.. fun nice touching inspiring show.. very vividly animated as well.. saw somewhere that Pixar films are very good.. i tink it really is.. haha.. will support pixar films frm now on.. lol.. and the shops near paradiz and parklane there got quite some pubs haf big tv, and very packed with ppl catching soccer haha..
then todae very suay ! i went to the pool, then realise that the adult pool ganna reserve frm 12-6.. sianz.. then i go the medium pool... so shallow !!! and not onli that, when i went in, the sky became so full of dark clouds!.. then after maybe 10 min, i change and go home, while going home, it actually rained! wa so suay lol.. then i reach home change my dearie fishie water haha.. still so small.. sianz.. then i went to haf lunch at yishun and bought a set of running attire frm sportslink.. then go home and felt like gg gym so i went haha.. then saw that the 24hr coffeeshop there got new big samsung lcd tv wor! in time for world cup! haha.. tink at night sure packed with ppl 1.. lol.. then juz nw got xmen 2 wor.. so nice haha.. jean grey ! i lurve ya!.. lol..

wa juz finish my senior camp over the weekend.. overall i think it should be more fun than last year camp ba.. the onli thing that was quite a letdown was the fright night on sun night.. i ask gl stay back go for it le, then haf to cancel cos of some issues.. letdown sia haiz.. quite tiring and fun at the same time throughout the 2 days.. but i slept on the floor on sat night.. the floor was real, er, hard!.. lol.. i cant sleep well at all.. haf to keep adjusting to find the right spot to sleep.. sianz.. make me so sleepy on sun.. then ard 2am got security guard come wake me up, bring me out to check if we really got book the place.. wa i real lack of sleep haha..
then mon i went back to help clean up the stores and return them via trolley all the way frm sac to nanyang hse.. dam far sia.. so shiong and tiring.. sweat alot again... machiam senior camp liddat lol.. then we went to play billiard and pool at nanyang hse awhile.. then i went to can 2 to discuss script thingy and camp cheer with andrea while the rest of them go play mahjong at jianwei hall.. then while discussing, andrea friend got her results le.. wa haha.. then i go home chck again.. sad sia.. my this sem results better than last sem de.. at least got 3 B+, last sem none at all.. but alas.. everything got pulled down by chem, sad sia.. sianz.. then my society, which i hate so much, got U !!! wah, wad a show ! i tink, and some other forumer tink, this is the best of the 3 xmen show.. this show deviates frm the cartoon series i remember fondly when i was a kid.. i remember jean grey was possessed by this phoenix, who was a supernatural being and a guardian of dunno wad ting that is vital to the galaxy.. but in this show, it portray the phoenix as the split personality of jean grey.. and my, was she powerful, in fact i could say she haf powers that of the god ! she killed cyclops, professor x, and is dam powerful.. especially the last part, where she, with her mind alone, can disintegrate, (disintegrate!) so many ppl at once.. wow.. and when she used her powers to do evil, her face become twisted with black veins, just like when i played star wars knights of the old republic, where if i chose to be a dark jedi, the face also become twisted with black veins.. cool !.. awesome... i cannot say its a blockbuster movie, but at least to simple xmen fans like me, i lurvee it.. haha.. if onli i, i, am phoenix... i can just do wadever i wish to do.. wahaha...

then thurs i woke earli go nus work with my jc friends.. haha.. so slack.. they ask us report at 10am, then frm 10 am to 12 pm do nthg, then 12pm til 2pm, we were in our respective stations slacking.. lol.. then they provided lunch, though they said earlier there were no lunch.. then the lunch quite nice sia, quite 'feng fu'.. haha.. singtel dam rich.. then my station supposed to let the teams playing the games watch a short 5min video, then let them fill in a crossword puzzle.. haha.. then 4pm all the teams finish at my station le, then the person in charge came at around 420pm to give me my $50 in cash.. haha.. ez money sia lol..
fri i met sy, she gave me my bdae present, a tshirt frm man's studio which was long overdue.. lol.. quite surprise she still remember.. haha

on thurs i had lunch at billy bombers and then caught ultraviolet.. i tot it was gonna be a nice show, but it disappointed me.. found out later that it had bad reviews... then on sat, i was out in town snapping pictures of ppl for my society project.. sociology sux to the core!! sianz.. then i caught typhoon.. haha jf tell me it got bad reviews, onli 2/5 stars.. but i had great confidence in korean shows, and so decided to juz watch it.. man, i was quite blown off.. really very nice.. really live up to 'korean biggest blockbuster ever'.. korean shows are mostly very sentimental and true to life.. could hear ppl sniffing in the theatre.. guess ppl shldnt miss it.. haha.. looking forward to 2 other korean shows coming up.. 1 called running wild, the other forgot le.. both trailers also look wonderful... hahahaa... met 3 of my sec sch friends coincidentally while we were having dinner.. wad a pleasant surprise.. so long nv see jason and daniel le.. daniel have nicer hair now, while jason have grown fatter le.. haha.. had a nice chat as well..

o000.. on sat, went in e end to outback restaurant at millenia walk there, near suntec city.. i ordered fish and chips, while jf and tw ordered chicken and beef steak, and we also ordered a big plate of BIG cheese fries with bacon.. haha.. quite nice sia.. so full, was originally very hungry, but eat finish so full, so big chunky fries haha.. then i din pay anything for the food, haha, they paid for me.. then we went to marina square kbox and sang ktv.. found out they got a package for the ktv and buffet food, $12 for 6pm-930pm, add $10 for buffet, so onli $22 nia, and the buffet is actually quite well spread.. haha.. but of course we din order the buffet lar, so full.. then they din haf any small empty rooms for 3ppl, so they gave us a BIG 15pax room, wahahah.. so big sia.. so shiok..
todae wake up change my fish tank water again.. sian.. my RTG always like to stay at the bottom motionless nowadays.. been like that for a few weeks le.. normally should be swimming around the top surface 1.. but i cannot notice any other things unusual about its body that will signify any illness leh, so shld be ok ba haha.. then met yj and went to eat at yuki yaki at cine.. finally managed to eat it haha.. i liked the sushi, soo nice.. juz simply love jap food hahahaha.. then after finish, we change table and eat the ice cream.. its so special.. we take many many many other assorted flavours of icecream that is liquid, then pour into this 'bbq' pot.. it can be a heater or freezer sia.. can turn on heater, then can bbq food, then can change it into a 'freezer' also.. then we pour the liquid icecream inside, and then 'cook' it, then after hardening, scrape it up and eat.. hahahahaha.. special.. tink will go there again.. not bad.. onli about $20 for the lunch plus ice cream at student price overall.. and i tot yj treat me eat can le, but she also bought a quite nice towel frm royal sporting house for me.. tink quite a 'high class' towel, got anti bacterial and many other good qualities.. haha can use for gym.. lol.. then got this very funny incident.. haha.. went inside the lift at cine, then got this couple inside.. think shld be malay ba.. they both wearing pink.. then so qiao, me and yj also wearing pink.. then i just comment in chinese, wah we all wear same colour clothes.. then i saw the guy, also wear same type of shoe as me, so i comment in chinese again, wah me and him same shoe also.. haha.. then, the couple got out of the lift, but at the lift door, the girl turn back, and smile very widely, and say in chinese: haha i can listen to chinese.. then say byebye to us... LOLX.. so funny.. tink we cannot anyhow mistake different colour people as people who cannot speak our own language, or else might say something that might incur their wraths.. must watch wad we speak, even if it seems the other party might not be able to understand.. haha.. or else, die.. haha..
found out juz nw, that my parents already booked a package for my family overseas at the travel fair at suntec.. he say he paid 3k plus for total 4 ppl.. go china sia.. dunno nice anot.. but tink not much shopping.. onli walk walk look look see see haha.. hope will be nice.. haha..

hmmm.. looking back, i think its been another looooooong loooooooooong while since i blogged again le.. haha.. forgot wad i did le.. tink i remembered watching some movie and dunno go where la.. forget it.. haha..
talk bout my bdae.. last saturday, went for a simple celebration with my army friends.. supposed to eat at yuki yaki, then cos full house, we went finally to seoul garden for dinner.. haha.. sat there for a very long time, tink got 2plus hours.. haha..
then yesterday thurs i went to nus for zhang shao han concert.. wah sianz man.. there machiam some autograph session liddat.. where got campus concert.. zzz.. like i go J8 for autograph session, outdoor 1.. so hot.. then we sit on floor somemore.. they have some VIP seats in front, but for those student 'leaders', like those who take part actively in sch cca like their student union ppl liddat.. haha.. took many nice pics and vid also.. they disallow videography, but allow photography, where got such logic.. lol.. but in e end, the person also sianz, just let us take lor.. wahahah..
then ytd midnight, 1st to wish me bdae was her.. haha.. so fuzzy.. then 2nd was actualy, melvyn sia.. i din expect it at all... but yet, i dunno his bdae also, haiz..
then todae i skipped sch, nv go for morning lecture, went for my afternoon pe onli.. received a present - tshirt from newurbanmale, from my lecture friends.. thanks alot to them haha.. tot they will buy underwear or gstring for me.. lol.. then i wasnt that close to lirong and corina actually, but yet, they bought a small gift for me - some lip butter brazil nut flavour.. was quite pleasantly surprised as well.. haha..
then she nv come sch also, always pon.. haha.. then met her at train itself, then go walk walk and eat at ajisen ramen, i just anyhow choose cos really hungry.. tummy growling since my afternoon pe.. ate 1 packet instant mee since morning nia haha.. thanks for her treat haha.. then we walk walk then i send her home.. at bb, she wanted to drink tea at mos again, hahaha, then we go sit and drink.. then in then end, after she reach home, too late le, nv go auntie house.. haha..
tmr meeting jf and tw, tink they say go eat at clarke quay some english restaurant known for beer or wine.. haha.. but i dun drink lol.. sun tink meeting june for yuki yaki haha, din get to eat it last week.. then i still haf my family and godma haven eat yet, but they gif me angbao le.. dun feel like eating and treating them sia, cos i wanna do my own stuff.. wahahaha.. then my parents ask me sun go with them to suntec for the travel fair, cos we planning go overseas during holidays.. but i also dun feel like gg lol..

went for a shiseido talk at sac ytd evening with mars.. then after that went to haf dinner at the new canteen 3, wah the food sux there.. cannot eat there 1, lol..
todae i woke up late, haha.. cos ytd night too late sleep le.. at about 1am went running with mars, then chatted til 3plus.. morning cannot wake up lol.. skipped the 1st 1hr lecture in e morning haha.. then after that went for my pe lecture and then went to mos with my lecture grp ppl.. then waited there for her, then she came with her friends, and then we went to her workplace at harbourfront.. hmm, last time i went there, it was a very 'cold' place, not much ppl.. now, it looks much more friendlier haha.. after eating at delifrance i went home le then she go work.. wah, cannot eat pasta at delifrance de.. sux.. haha..
